How We Help
Your wealth should act as a catalyst for a great life, not as a random number on a statement. That’s why we thoughtfully design, build, and protect a wealth plan to help you and your family get more out of life. You’ll receive financial planning advice, turn-key investment management, and ongoing guidance.
In the initial Discovery Meeting, getting to know you better and gaining clarity on your individual and family situation is our top priority. We begin by asking questions and listening to what is most important to you. We also gather personal financial information to help us understand where you are now. By the end of this meeting, you will understand our values, our responsibilities, our compensation, and if we can help you. We will understand what you want to accomplish and over what time frame.
Investment Plan Meeting
Using information gathered during the Discovery Meeting, we run an analysis to determine where you currently are relative to the goals you want to achieve. We will evaluate and analyze your current investment portfolio to determine what, if anything, can be done to better align your money with your goals. We will present our findings to you, in plain English, so you have a firm understanding of where you are, where you want to be, and what needs to happen to fill in the gaps. We will clearly spell out the opportunities for improvement and make investment recommendations to help you on your way toward success.
Mutual Commitment Meeting
Within two weeks after our investment plan meeting, we will meet for our mutual commitment meeting. This is your time to ask us questions about the plan and gain clarity about your steps for the future. We will also take this time to determine if there is a mutually beneficial reason for us to work together. Should we both decide to move forward with the partnership, we will deliver your custom investment policy statement. This document clearly spells out our how we will manage your money and provide proper expectations going forward. You will then sign paperwork necessary to implement the investment plan and transfer your accounts. This meeting will formalize our agreement to become your Personal CFO®.
45-Day Follow Up Meeting
Within 45 days after our mutual commitment meeting, we will meet again during our 45-Day Follow-Up Meeting. This is designed to answer any questions regarding your statements, online account access, or anything else that may have popped up. We will also take this time to begin addressing additional needs such as retirement planning, insurance and protection planning, estate planning, analyzing net worth, and other areas as they arise.
Regular Progress Reviews
At this stage in the process, we will formalize your Wealth Management Plan through regular reviews and work with your CPA, Estate Planning Attorney, and our investment team which includes Certified Financial Planners and Certified Financial Analysts. Each year, we revisit your goals and see what adjustments, if any, need to be made. Have any internal family or business events occurred that might trigger changes in your financial goals? Are you on track to achieve your goals? Can anything be done to decrease the risks associated with accomplishing your goals? We revisit the financial plan and proposals, adjust recommendations where appropriate, and set an action plan for the coming year. We will be there for you…not just at the beginning of this journey, but along the way.
